Spam weirdness

While looking at recent changes, I noticed this gem: http://extra.wikitravel.org/node/769 When I wasn't logged in, I didn't have permission to view it. I logged in and could view it. I didn't delete it, because it seems like something needs to be fixed...maybe we should throw anon forum posts into the queue. If we don't, they shouldn't be invisible to non-logged-in users (non-admins?).

spam module

I installed a spam module that gives the "report as spam" link on posts (only admins see the "mark as spam" links) It seems like that puts it into some sort of limbo until an admin can delete or un-spam it.

I'm a little confused about what you want it to do: you think non-admins/logged in users *should* be able to see the spam?

ohh...

Didn't realize that it was in limbo because it was spam. Thought it was in limbo for other reasons...

But it still shows up in recent changes (even for non-logged-in users). I guess that was my confusion.

Jon

you'd think...

That recent changes would hide unpublished stuff... I'll look into that.

spam now hidden

Posts that have been marked spam should now be hidden in recent changes. I'd like to change it so that it's an option (like the current 'show comments' checkbox) and add something to indicate that it's been marked spam (probably a "S"?)
