Please keep in mind that World66 does not have (a) decent forum/discussion pages at all. CR also being "Crossroad" between World66 and Wikitravel, one could think of it's mission to create a decent forum location for W66 too...., but I'm not sure...

In fact, I see two possible developments: * Either IB will create a new forum structure for and inside World66. As a result, Wikitravel and W66 will each have their own distinctive forum settings. * Or there will be kind of a common [Wikitravel-World66] forum/discussion structure within CR. Wikitravel and W66 both having comparable structures within CR.

I wonder if this issue has been discussed with IB during Wikitravel take-over negotiations... (at that time requested by IB, the creation of a decent forum platform for World66 was my number one suggestion for future Wikitravel/World66 development).

So, I'm not sure... If there are currently no concrete plans, could this forum be the right place to start a discussion (with IB also)?

A good and interesting point

So, I think this sounds great. The only thing I'd like to do is make sure of is that we don't stifle discussions of other subjects by making the forums here only for W66 editorial conversations.

I wonder if there's a way that we can separate out editorial discussions about the W66 page on France ("this section is too long", "we need more photos") from discussions about France the country ("I'm going to Brittany, what kind of clothes should I bring?" "How hard is it for a Pakistani citizen to get a visa?").

I think that Crossroads can be a great platform for supporting the W66 community in its work, but I also think that it can be a lot more, too.
