Things to do in Prague

Prague is a great place for walking. You can wander around the streets and will come across amazing architecture, churches, concert halls often with mid day concerts, museums, art galleries and shops - many with the amazing crystal chandeliers.Wenceslas Square on Vaclaske Namesti is the New town and a five minute walk is The Old Town Square where you can see the Church of our Lady before Tyn, the old Clock tower and the Astronomical clock and St Nicholas Church. Then head past the markets down Mala Strana over the Charles Bridge , then go up Nerudova St to Prague Castle and St Vitus Church. That will easily take all day and more if you are looking at things along the way. Try and get to the Jewish cemetery. That was really interesting. You could do a boat trip down the river for a good view. But just walking you will come across so much to see - there are over 4,000 historical monuments etc.

Enjoy!

Viva Praha!!

Prague is indeed a great place for walking but at this time of year make sure you pack a light waterproof jacket and trainers rather than sandals as it can be cold and rainy at times. Its quite a long haul up to the Church,I cheated and got a cab there and walked back down through the colourful stalls and cobbled streets.
