A strong Eathquake measuring a 6.7 magnitude. Northwestern-cities such as Kashiwazaki were most affected where 500 were injured and 5 were killed. Hundreds of building were flattened while a fire erupted at a power plant and train service in the area was suspended to assess damage to the system. Travellers should assess the situation before traveling the northern area of the western coast.
