Extra v. Crossroads

I looked for this in the forums, but searching for "Crossroads" and "Extra" don't exactly turn up the most useful links in this case.

What is the status of the Crossroads name vis-a-vis the Extra name? I ask because when my wife was creating an account yesterday, it was confusing to her to see references to "Crossroads" and "Crossroads Alpha" when she thought she was creating a "Wikitravel Extra" account. It seems like there should be some naming consistency.

This is definitely (or

This is definitely (or better be) Wikitravel Extra. I've been doing some evangelicalism so the people who I've talked to or directed to Wikitravel Extra know it as Wikitravel Extra. Plus, the title bar has "Wikitravel Extra" in it.

I know what you're talking about with regards of references left over from the Crossroads era - I pointed out the "About" and "Privacy Policy" read "About Crossroads" and 'Crossroad's Privacy Policy.' Maj took care of it almost immediately after I pointed it out to her.

grep?

I don't know whether it's possible just to grep Crossroads out of the code, but there's a reference to "Crossroads Alpha" in the sign-up process.

naw...

I've grepped (grupt?) already-- all the remaining hangers-on are in the database... Drupal isn't very consistent on where stuff comes from-- it can be code in templates, modules, the core, the database, you name it... I just have to zap 'em as we find them.

Thanks for spotting this one. Makes me think we need a revamp of the registration forms anyway...
