I couldn't log in with OpenID.

  • When I typed ja:user:tatata , message was Unable authenticate. OpenID Discovery failed..
  • When I pasted http://wikitravel.org/ja/User:Tatata or http://wikitravel.org/ja/%E5%88%A9%E7%94%A8%E8%80%85:Tatata , message was OpenID login failed..

Only one time, I saw the confirm screen of ja: with nickname and e-mail address. And another time, I got a message Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /var/www/crossroads/modules/openid/openid.module on line 360. -- Tatata

I'll look into this

If you saw the confirm page, then it did work at some point -- do you remember what you did then?

I'll try debugging this on the dev site.

Thanks

Update...

The good news is, it's not a Wikitravel problem. The bad news is there's a critical bug in the latest OpenID release for Drupal. I'm trying some work-around and will also look into rolling back to an old version, but it might be a day or two (unless there's a patch or new release posted).

My suggestion is to create a new user account the old fashion way. You can then associate your OpenID to that account.

Again, sorry about this!

OK!

I have logged in with OpenID using ja: Wikitravel's URI.

I will try to associate it to existing account later, maybe tomorrow.

Thank you!

I failed to associate.

I tried to associate OpenID in some pattern, but failed and need your help...

http://wikitravel.org/ja/%E5%88%A9%E7%94%A8%E8%80%85:Tatata/
I got a message "That OpenID may be taken already. Please try again.".
http://wikitravel.org/ja/user:tatata/
Message was "The changes have been saved." and the entry of the OpenID box (Home » User account - Tatata - Edit - Account settings) became "http://wikitravel.org/ja/user:tatata/". Login with "http://wikitravel.org/ja/user:tatata/" or "wikitravel.org/ja/user:tatata/", was OK. (Maybe OpenID was change to first one automatically.) Then click "your profile" on the top, I got a message "Access denied - You are not authorized to access this page.".
ja:user:tatata
Message was "The changes have been saved." and the entry of the OpenID box (Home » User account - Tatata - Edit - Account settings) became "http://ja:user:tatata/". Then login with "ja:user:tatata" and message was "OpenID authentication failed: not a valid OpenID URL.".
/ja/user:tatata/
Message was "The changes have been saved." and the entry of the OpenID box (Home » User account - Tatata - Edit - Account settings) became "http:///ja/user:tatata/". Then login with "ja:user:tatata" and message was "OpenID authentication failed: not a valid OpenID URL.".

Would you please remove the entry "http://wikitravel.org/ja/%E5%88%A9%E7%94%A8%E8%80%85:Tatata/" from Extra ?

And can I use interwiki style for Wikitravel's OpenID ?

I'm sorry to bother you.

Good to hear. We're using an old version of the module until the new stuff stabilizes... glad to hear that it's working.

Thanks again!
