And another unfortunate amphibian finds its way to the list: turtle soup in Geylang, Singapore. Surprisingly meaty but unsurprisingly chewy. The Chinese also chow down on the skin (fatty) and the intestines (chewy), but alas, they had no turtle eggs.
And I can't believe I forgot crocodile and kangaroo, both tested way back in Australia. The Geylang shop even had crocodile flippers, but given my previous experience with pork and chicken feet I gave it a pass.
