Well, have a look at http://www.colorschemer.com/online.html
Set HEX input to colour #CC0000, with is the basic scheme colour for both World66 and Crossroads.
I must say that I'm not very impressed by this 'artist' colour palette suggestions.
I think IB should consider a general brush up for three sites concerned. World66's look and feel is increasingly becoming outdated and the same applies for Wikitravel imho.
So, my suggestion would be: don't stick too much to this #CC0000 red, ask IB to spend some money to modernise/harmonise/redevelop a common colour scheme for World66, Crossroads and Wikitravel.
The three of them should be recognisable as part of the same "family"
