attractive idea but...

why not create something like a new forum entry [workshops], which could contain subsections, e.g. [Wiki] > [how to learn the Wiki markup language?], then bring up the above mentioned option [view source user posts] to give some examples, tips and tricks to start this sub-forum with... The [workshops] section could be part of the Crossroads Community section, like we have the [Travelers Lounge] already there... section and subsections could be moderated by (a) fellow-traveler specialist(s). I think this could possibly work.

Ceterum censeo Carthaginem esse delendam. Or more adapted to actual CR developments: I think we should have a spell checker unit integrated in these edit boxes... badly missing! (I know it's already been requested before, this is just meant as a knot in the handkerchief :-)
