City bigamy

The first time I went to Paris I fell deeply in love with the city. A few years later, when I finally got to visit Rome, I also went madly in love with the Italian capital. I’ve come back to both a few times, in different trips, but I could never really decide which one I liked best. Well, now I have just come back from a trip to both Paris and Rome, I have to admit that, in the end, Paris is winning by a nose. You see, both are tough competitors when it comes to physical beauty and a captivating lifestyle, let alone the food. But I think Paris’ cosmopolitanism grabs the attention of the urbanite in me. Anyway, as the word ‘love’ implies, it’s not really a rational choice you make just by weighing the pros and cons of each. And I’d rather not know the reason, really. In the world of travel, city bigamy is not a sin.
