How's your Russian, Jani?

Interesting observations, and they match well with things I've seen traveling in Russia (where the modern written language is a far more recent construct, but its roots are Greek in many ways).  Do they have PECTOPAH signs, or something equivalent, all over Athens?  (Hint: the Cyrillic P is derived from the Greek "rho".)
