Yes!

I think that the World66 "where I've been" maps are really great, but I think there are some more things we can do to take the to the next level. Linking text written by the traveler about that place is one thing; also photos and/or videos. I also think adding dots for cities (towns, villages, parks, etc.), dates and date ranges, and arrows and lines to show directions of travel would be cool too. Organizing maps into separate trips (my trip to Southeast Asia, my trip to New Orleans) would avoid too much noise in the viewing.
