We just went to Barcelona this spring and stumbled upon Origens 99.9% located at Passeig del Born, n 4, 08003 - Barcelona, TELF. 932 956 690
They feature local specialties of a region within a region of Catalonia. When we were there, we asked the bartender if he had any local specialty liquors, and he just kept pouring, because there were so many to choose from. In the US, you're lucky if you have one.
Go to the gothic district, it's got neat architecture.
See the "most unique you will ever see in your life" designed by the "most universal genius of all time" according to the audioguide at Casa Batlló, one of Gaudi's creations. Also, don't miss Parc Guell.
