Copenhagen and beyond

Wow, I'm falling behind on this blog thing -- my late night computer sessions have fallen prey to my ability to adjust to a new time zone too quickly.

Odense to Copenhagen

Yesterday doesn't sound like much: got up, checked out of the hotel, caught the train back to Copenhagen and settled in at User:Elgaard's place, but it took *all* day...

Odense: Day 3

We were all up in time for breakfast this morning, so we must be adjusting finally. After some yogurt, bread, cheese, and fruit I took Amita out to visit the farmers market, convienently just outside the hotel. It was cute, in the same way that all farmers markets are cute, but nothing special. The only thing that made it different than a similar event in, say Geneva or Santa Cruz was the number of oversized baby prams -- some with 3 toddlers in them.

Odense: Day Two

We were up a bit in the middle of the night, here in Odense alternatively consoling and entertaining the babe, so I wasn't that surprised when we were woken up by housekeeping rapping on the door at 9:30am. I jumped out of bed and into the shower still more asleep than awake and managed to stumble down to the conference only 45 minutes late. Luckily for me it was a very interesting morning -- and there was a 10am coffee & danish break.

Arriving in Denmark

So we made it to Denmark yesterday morning. The flight from Montreal (to Copenhagen via Zurich)could have been worse, I should be thankful that Amita slept as much as she did. We were still pretty wrecked by the time we stumbled into the Hilton Copenhagen Airport hotel, thankfully located less than 200 meters from the arrivals hall.
